CFC Leisure Ltd is are an entertainment and leisure firm that specalises in the nightclub industry.

Alliance Studio have worked with CFC to create a fresh and vibrant website that has a corporate feel about it and portrays the companies brands, services and contact details in an easily accessable way.

Based in Boston, Lincolnshire, the company is run by James Fairman MRICS, a chartered surveyor who has worked in property for 20 years. Poyntons Consultancy were looking for a new fresh look and would allow them to showcase their services and available property to customers.

The site features a number of information pages as well as a latest properties page which lists all the properties that are currently on the market as well as downloadable PDF files.

In terms of design, the site uses a high res photo of Boston marketplace as the background which makes the content stand out and offers Poyntons a unique look amongst their competitors.

Magtoc is an online ordering system for UK train companies to order their tickets through their supplier, Magnadata International.

The system allows users to login and view a specific set of products allocated to their account and then by proceeding through a uniquely designed checkout process they can quickly and easily get their order processed and delivered.

Magtoc also has featured addons including support for credit card payments and full integration into Magnadata’s internal order management system.

About the client:

Pocklington Soft Furnishings is a Family owned and run Business Specialising in the sale of Designer Bedding, Made to Measure Curtains and Blinds (Telephone orders only) & Designer Fabrics. The company is based in Boston and prides itself on providing customers with a quality service time and again.

Work Completed:

Pocklington Soft Furnishings came to us to help them broaden their marketing by offering their products and services online. They wanted a clean and professional store that provided great navigation for it’s customers. It needed to effectively show off the products that they sell as well as give relevant information such as sizes/materials etc.

The site based on Interspire shopping cart software that provides the user with an admin panel so that they can add/edit products as well as update the information pages and visitor statistics. Orders can also be managed from the control panel and allows the user to update the status of orders and add tracking numbers for the customer to view.

Once the site was ready to go live, we carried out search engine optimisation on the site and have managed to reach the top spots of google for certain keywords.

The second the site went live, it got off to a flying site and orders came rolling in in no time. The site is now receiving a constant stream of new customers and is getting over 1500 visits a month!

About the client:

Lynx Bowling Services are a family run business with over 40 years Technical experience within the Tenpin Bowling industry. They specialise in Ten Pin Bowling Equipment and Bowling Alley Equipment. The Business is run by Nigel and Carole Butler and a small team of technicians.

Work Completed:

When Nigel first came to us, he was looking for a simple, clean website that would display the services they could offer to their clients and provide contact details for potential customers.

We provided a really unique design that stood out from the competition and would stick in the customers mind after visiting. The design included a unique logo, custom background ten pin related imagery.

About the client:

8th Wonder Clothing is an independent mens streetwear clothing outlet based in Boston, Lincolnshire. They strive to bring together some of the best quality brands and any new up and comers. They like to see people get the most out of their purchases so they only stock good quality brands with a strong emphasis on design and longevity.

Work Completed:

8th Wonder Clothing had recently launched their clothing store in the heart of Boston selling streetwear clothing and were looking to gain an online presence and an additional income stream from online sales. Alliance Studio worked closely with them to acheive just that resulting in a great looking ‘urban style’ store.

The store was built upon the Interspire Ecommerce framework and allows the administrator to easily add new products, manage orders and display current promotions. 8th Wonder Clothing currently stock a wide range of brands including Dephect, Ames Bros and Zoo York.

Alliance Studio has optimised the site for search engines in order to attract organic traffic for keywords relating to the products that 8th Wonder Clothing sell. The site also features a single page checkout which will allow visitors to quickly purchase what they were looking for without the hassle of a lengthy checkout process.

Overall both ourselves and 8th Wonder Clothing are very pleased with the result and look forward to seeing sales rise throughout the rest of the year.

About the client:

Now part of the Magnadata Group, Norprint are one of Europe’s largest labelling and systems companies. The company produces over 7 billion labels per year and can supply a wide range of Print & Apply, Applicators and other bespoke equipment solutions. Norprint focus on a variety of market sectors which include: food, retail, security, commercial and industrial. Supplying leading multi national companies with highly recognised brands.

Work Completed:

Norprint’s existing ecommerce site was under performing due to poor search engine optimisation and  a lengthy checkout process causing a low conversion rate. Alliance Studio has been able to successfully solve these problems by integrating a new design into the search engine friendly shopping cart software, Interspire.

The new site features search engine friendly urls, W3c validated code, improved accessibility and an all new and improved checkout process. These have drastically increased traffic being driven to Norprint from organic search results as well as increase the proportion of visitors becoming customers. All of these have helped Norprint in acheiving it’s objectives and increase revenue.

About the client:
Magnadata has been one of the Worlds leading suppliers of passenger transport ticketing since the 1980’s when major investment was made by the holding company into Magnetic striping technology that was so innovative it led to winning the “Queens Award” for Technology in 1989.

Work Completed:
Magnadata’s old site was built on a framework that output poor quality code. This had a number negative effects such as slow loading times, poor cross browser compatibility and poor search engine optimisation. We worked closely with the Magnadata team to acheive a fresh new look and approach that complements their successful business.

The site now complies with W3C standards and contains features such as a jQuery slideshow on the homepage and a 3-tier dropdown navigation bar.

We also included thorough search engine optimisation on the site including relevant meta tags, search engine friendly urls and a structured sitemap which allows both users and search engine to find the content they are looking for.

Overall the site has been a great success and both ourselves and Magnadata are very pleased with the final result.
